Why We Compare Tours

What We Compare

Every listing on the site is compared on the same set of fields: the published from-price, the rating, the number of reviews behind it, the stated duration, and where the tour starts, whether that is a pickup in Naples or Sorrento or a meeting point near the Pompeii ruins (see Meeting Points). Cancellation terms are shown too, since nearly every tour here offers free cancellation and that flexibility often decides the choice. Nothing on the page is a placeholder; each entry points to a live listing for a real bookable product.

Selection is deliberately narrow. A tour appears only when it has a live listing and public reviews behind it, drawn from categories that cover the full range of ways to visit, from a three-hour shuttle to the crater to a full day pairing Pompeii, Herculaneum and the summit. Ratings and review counts are the booking platforms' own published figures, reproduced as they stand, and nothing about a tour is invented or padded beyond what its listing states.

How The Site Earns Money

The site earns money through affiliate links: when a visitor books a tour after following one of them, the site receives a payment from the booking platform. That payment comes out of the platform's side of the transaction, not the visitor's, so the price seen before booking is the operator's own price either way. The full wording sits on the affiliate disclosure page.

What We Do Not Do

The site itself sells nothing. It takes no payment, issues no tickets and runs no tours; booking, payment and any refund are all handled on the operator's live booking page, where the terms of each product apply.
